29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On December 6, 2023, at or near the job site located at 929 24th Avenue SW, in Watford City, North Dakota an employee was exposed to a fall of greater than 6 feet when walking the top plate of a residential home under construction. (b) On December 6, 2023, at or near the job site located at 929 24th Avenue SW, in Watford City, North Dakota employees were exposed to a fall greater than 6 feet when an open stairwell was not protected by a guardrail system.
