29 CFR 1910.28(c)(3): The employer did not barricade the area into which objects could fall, prohibiting employees from entering the area, and keeping objects far enough away from an edge or opening to prevent them from falling to a lower level: On or about January 9, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards from manual tree felling operations. The employer failed to barricade the drop zone area of the tree being felled and prohibit employees from returning to the area until it was safe to return.
