29 CFR  1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c):  a) This violation was discovered on or about January 19, 2024, and at times prior thereto, at a jobsite located at 1100 East Campbell Road, Richardson, Texas, employees in an 8-feet-6 inches deep excavation were exposed to crush and/or struck-by hazards when the excavation did not have adequate protective systems.
