Dupont Hwy. in Dover, DE 19901: On or about February 29, 2024, the employer placed a cylinder of helium sitting on the floor in the register area without any type of protection to prevent the cylinder from being knocked and/or falling over possibly striking the employee and/or damaging the valve causing the cylinder to discharge uncontrollably which would cause a projectile and struck by hazard.

Dupont Hwy. in Dover, DE 19901: On or about February 29, 2024, employees were exposed to electrical hazards when they worked in and around broken/altered circuit breakers and/or light switches that created shock/electrocution hazards.  The Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1467642, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 28, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 960 Lancaster Avenue, Columbia, PA 17512.
