29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: At a residential worksite located at 503 N Brown St, Princeton MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties were using an extension ladder to gain access to the roof. The extension ladder did not extend 3 feet above the landing surface. This exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 9 feet to ground level. This was documented on or about 3/22/2024.
