29 CFR  1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used:   At the jobsite located at 3802 W 158th Overland Park, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to electrical shock and fire hazards in that the extension cords used to supply power from electrical box to power tools was frayed.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At the jobsite located at 3802 W 158th Overland Park, Kansas, employee(s) engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9.5 feet from the top plate of the first level to the interior of the structure and 25 feet from the exterior of the structure to the ground. Adequate fall protection was not utilized.  Lomas Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1521458, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/13/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 8511 N McKinley Ave, Kansas City, Missouri.
