OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees.  Employee(s) were exposed to fall hazards.  On or about May 24, 2024, and at times prior to, in residential tree cutting, an employee was utilizing a chainsaw to cut tree limbs without a second means to be secured to the tree(s).

29 CFR  1910.132(h)(1):Personal protective equipment (PPE), was not provided by the employer at no cost to employees.
