29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. A) 1701 Route 22, Watchung, NJ ( Blue Star Shopping Center) An employee working in an aerial lift was not standing on the floor of the basket but was climbing up the guardrails while installing protective siding to the exterior of the building. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards from a height of approximately 19 feet. On or about June 4, 2024.
