The barrier railing had been struck and cracked.

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to chemical hazards:   a) On or about June 9, 2024, at the worksite, Flack Farms, LLC, 63 Flack Road, Lisbon, NY 13658:  Employees were dispensing and using corrosive chemicals including, Sodium Hypochlorite Solution and  Sodium Hydroxide, by use of AgroClean 305 CIP Detergent, while performing cleaning operations on dairy equipment. Employees exposed to splash hazards without the use of chemical protective personal equipment. An emergency eyewash/shower was not provided for flushing/rinsing eyes, face, or skin.
