29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Fabrication Area: Lockout tagout procedures used by employees to conduct activities, such as, but not limited to changing blades and maintenance on the Sasso K600 Bridge Saw, S/N 1864, Northwood CNC Model No. 138UFC, S/N 19211, Sasso Flat polisher, S/N 1978, and Northwood Saw Jet SJI 27-S, S/N 21201 were not audited annually, on or about 8/5/24. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
