29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to crushing injuries from overturning forklifts while operating them without using operator restraint systems (seat belts): Location - Farm Store area. On or about 8/27/2024, a Yale powered industrial truck (PIT) was operated without the use of the seat belt, in that the seat did not have a seat belt buckle installed on the seat, as required by the manufacturer.
