Abrasive wheels shall be used only on machine provided with safety guards as defined in paragraph (c) (1) through (4) of this section.  a) At the jobsite located at 28212 Rice Rd. SAN ANTONIO, FL  -  On or about 09/23/2024, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that, 3 DeWalt Handheld Grinders were being used without guarding attached to the unit, while performing activities, such as but not limited to, grinding, cleaning and smoothing rough areas of metal products and equipment.
