29 CFR 1910.29(c): The employer did not ensure that each safety net system meets the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart M: a) Lube Pit 1: On or about September 25, 2024 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards while walking and working around the lube bay. The employer failed to inspect and remove from service, defective safety nets being utilized as fall protection. b) Lube Pit 2: On or about September 25, 2024 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards while walking and working around the lube bay.
