29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):   Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by in-going nip points, rotating parts, and/or flying chips and sparks:   At a work site located at 8700 Elmwood Avenue #400, Kansas City, Missouri. Employees were exposed to struck by and amputation hazards when operating the Inclined Screw Conveyor DH-S2-3K, Serial Number 200316001, known to the company as the spice machine. The auger portion of the hopper is not guarded and does not have an interlock to shut machine down when the hopper door is opened during operation.
