29 CFR 1926.502(a)(2):The employer did not provide and install all fall protection systems required by this subpart for employee(s) and did not comply with all other pertinent requirements of this subpart before employee(s) began the work that necessitates the fall protection. On or about 10/21/2024 at the Wilson Valley Subdivision worksite in Republic, MO, employees conducting roofing and framing activities were exposed to fall hazards when each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system in the following instances: 1) Roofers were applying shingles without using any form of fall protection. 2) Framers were installing floor joist without using any form of fall protection.
