Wells and Sons Inc. horizontal band saw, used to cut plastic tubes, did not have guarding on a 10.5-inch portion of the saw blade between the left wheel guard and the adjustable left guide rolls nor on a 5.5-inch portion of the saw blade between the right wheel guard and the adjustable right guide rolls, exposing employees to getting cut by the saw blade, on or about the week of October 21, 2024.  (c) Machine Shop - The Victor engine lathe, model 1630, serial number 450355, did not have a chuck guard, exposing employees to entanglement and struck-by hazards, on or about October 30, 2024.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
