Gas station side of the site - On or about January 3, 2025, employees were working from a ML-7: JLG 400S aerial lift to install flashing and vapor barrier, the employees were not utilizing fall protection while they were working from an elevated position. 29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.   a. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a. Roof - Employees were engaged in the installation of moisture barrier paper to get ready for shingling the roof. The roof was a 6:12 pitch and the employees were not using any type of fall protection while exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 6 feet.  Corrected During Inspection.
