29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: A) On or about January 28th, 2025, procedures were not developed to control the potentially hazardous energy of a valve on a Damrow Double "O" Cheese Vat (Vat #2) in the Blue Production area where employees disassembled a portion of the piping system and placed their hands directly in where moving parts of the valve created a hazard to remove curd that was stuck. B) On or about February 3, 2025, procedures were not utilized to control the potentially hazardous electrical energy of a Combi Labeling machine (Model FBL, Serial # FBL103352) where an employee was responsible for performing servicing or maintenance activities such as setup (changing label rolls) and unjamming stuck boxes from the outfeed within the danger zone of moving parts such as chains and sprockets.
