29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice: a) On or about 3/20/2025, Warehouse adjacent to the Maintenance Shop: Employees were exposed to struck by hazards from falling loads, product, and/or equipment when required to operate power industrial trucks during material handling operations through protruding and bent floor sections. b) On or about 3/20/2025, Warehouse adjacent to the Maintenance Shop: Employees were exposed to trip/fall hazards as the metal flooring is not maintained and is damaged with protruding and bent sections. The previous ownership, Ferraro Fine Foods Corp, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1734219, citation 1 item number 2 and affirmed as a final order on 9/30/2024.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about 3/20/2025, Maintenance Department: Employees were required to perform battery maintenance on forklifts without the availability of suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes. A self-contained eyewash station was provided to employees; however, it was blocked by boxes and other shop equipment restricting access. b) On or about 3/20/2025, Exterior of the Maintenance Department: Employees were required to perform battery maintenance on forklifts without the availability of suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes. A self-contained eyewash station was provided to employees for use but was blocked by a pallet restricting access. The previous ownership, Ferraro Find Foods Corp, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1734219, citation 1 item number 3 and affirmed as a final order on 9/30/2024.
