29 CFR  1910.184(i)(9)(iv):Synthetic web slings shall be immediately removed from service if any of the following conditions are present; Broken or worn stitches.  Employees exposed to struck by hazards in the shipping and receiving department, in that a web sling with broken and worn stitching was being utilized to move glass product. Employees utilize the web sling to move glass panels weighing more than 8,000 pounds.
