OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when hand-feeding a brush chipper:   a) Worksite, during chipping operations: On or about 5/13/25, an employee was loading branches from the tree into a Vermeer BC1000XL Brush Chipper and there was a braided rope caught in the branches that the employee failed to identify before it was fed into the chipper. The employee grabbed the rope, became entangled and was nearly pulled into the running chipper.
