29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):  a) Mechanics area: On or about May 30, 2025, and at times prior to; the employer had not implemented or shared the written hazard communication program for employees who are MIG welding, and making repairs to Go Karts using products to include but not limited to flammable liquids and aerosols such as brake cleaners and solvent mixtures; Gunk Brake Parts Cleaner  (Acetone - CAS#67-64-1) and WD-40 (Aliphatic Hydrocarbon - CAS# 64742-47-8).   Note* Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:   a) Mechanics area: On or about May 30, 2025, and at times prior to; the employer did not provide effective training on the health and physical hazards of materials employees use in the repair and maintenance of Go Karts such as brake cleaners and solvent mixtures that are categorized as flammables, skin irritants, and serious eye irritants; Gunk Brake Parts Cleaner  (Acetone - CAS#67-64-1) and WD-40 (Aliphatic Hydrocarbon - CAS# 64742-47-8).  Note* Abatement certification is required for this item.
