29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  A.) Big River Roofing, LLC, 226 W State St, Sharon, PA 16146, on or about 6/17/25 and times prior thereto: Employees installing a new metal roof on a multi pitch commercial building, with a 5:12 and 8:12 pitch are not utilizing fall protection. Employees are wearing harnesses but are not connected to an anchorage point with a lifeline or lanyard.  Employees working on the roof are exposed to at least a 12 foot fall hazard.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation.  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. IN ADDITION, abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic, or video evidence or abatement or other written records.
