OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall and struck by hazards while riding on the back riding steps of a refuse collection truck:  a) Route 324- On or about July 1, 2025, employees rode on the riding steps on Rear-Loader Sanitation Truck (Truck # RE-273) when the vehicle was exceeding 10 mph (16 kph) exposing them to fall and struck by hazards.  b) Route 324- On or about July 1, 2025, employees rode on the riding steps on Rear-Loader Sanitation Truck (Truck # RE-273) when the vehicle was operating in reverse exposing them to fall and struck by hazards.   c) Route 324- On or about July 1, 2025, employees rode on the riding steps on Rear-Loader Sanitation Truck (Truck # RE-273) for at least 0.3 mi exposing them to fall and struck by hazards.
