29 CFR  1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A):Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function:  On or about July 24, 2025, and times prior thereto, in the polishing warehouse, the employer did not ensure that employees required to wear 3M half face respirators, were free from facial hair that could impede the sealing surface of the respirator.  Rio Stone Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1721752, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 2, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at  2520 Beech Avenue, McAllen, Texas, 78501.

Rio Stone Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1721752, citation number 3, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 2, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 2520 Beech Avenue, McAllen, Texas, 78501.
