29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A):Each authorized employee shall receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. On or before August 5, 2025, the employer failed to ensure Raw Room Production employees received training in the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control, such as unplugging electrical power cords, when cleaning and sanitizing the machines in the Raw Room, including the 480 Volt electrically powered Raw Room Meat Pump Machine.

29 CFR 1910.147(d)(3):Machine or equipment isolation. All energy isolating devices that are needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment shall be physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source(s). On or before August 5, 2025, the employer failed to ensure employees isolated and controlled the 480 Volt electrical power of the Raw Room Meat Pump machine by unplugging (operating) the electrical power cord prior to conducting service and maintenance activities such as cleaning and sanitizing the meat pump machine.
