29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) 253 East 206th Street, Bronx, NY - Mechanical Room: On or about 11/11/25, employees cleaned out human feces/waste from a sewer trap by hand and were not provided with nor required to wear full-body protective clothing (disposable coveralls, tyvek-type suit, or equivalent), etc. Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
