29 CFR  1910.263(c)(3):Sprockets and V-belt drives. Sprockets and V-belt drives located within reach from platforms or passageways or located within 8 feet 6 inches from the floor shall be completely enclosed.  On or about January 12, 2026, at an establishment located at N135 Stoney Brook Rd, Appleton, WI, employees were exposed to potential caught-in hazards while using the Oliver Products Company, Model 797-32 Bread Slicer when the machine guarding for the V-belt drive was not completely enclosed to prevent access to the hazard area.
