OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to hand entanglement and entrapment hazards while wearing gloves when operating a Grizzly Industrial, Inc. Model G0495X 8" x 83" Jointer with Digital Height Readout: On or about January 28, 2026, the employer did not protect employees that operate the Grizzly Industrial, Inc. Model G0495X 8" x 83" Jointer with Digital Height Readout, Serial #B06/328, from hand entanglement and entrapment hazards by ensuring that they remove any wearable items such as gloves. An employee wore gloves while operating the jointer and sustained a three-finger amputation when a glove contacted the cutterhead.
