29 CFR 1926.252(a):An enclosed chute of wood, or equivalent material, was not used where materials were dropped more than 20 feet to points lying outside the exterior walls of the building(s): a. On or about February 10, 2026, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing commercial HVAC upgrade operations were discarding material from the rooftop, dropping material approximately twenty-three (23) feet one (1) inch to the ground with no chute in place, thereby exposing employee(s) to struck-by hazards.
