On or about February 27, 2026, at the above jobsite, the operating controls in the crane cab of the Bucyrus?Erie 88?B crane, Serial Number 136440, were not clearly marked, and no chart was posted at the operator's position identifying the function of each control. As a result, employees were exposed to caught?between and struck?by hazards associated with improper operation of the crane due to deficiencies in equipment labeling and operator guidance.

River Docks, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard  29 CFR  1917.50(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1840975, citation number 1, item number 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 25, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 9301 South Kreiter Avenue, Chicago, IL. 60617.
