29 CFR  1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section.  Pago Pago International Airport, Parking Lot: On or about April 9, 2026, employees used a DeWalt Angle Grinder without a guard to cut rebar on concrete forms.  Paramount Builders, Limited DBA Paramount Builders, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.303(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1602722, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/31/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Paramount Building 2, Fagaima Industrial Area, Pago Pago, AS 96799.
