29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe.  (a) At the jobsite at lot 67 - On or about April 23, 2026, the employer exposed employees to a struck-by hazard, in that employees used a Makita circular saw with the guard held open by a piece of wood that did not allow the guard to retract back in place before and after cutting the materials.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed.  (a) On the jobsite at lot 67- On or about April 23, 2026, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard, in that employees used an extension ladder for access to an upper level that did not have its side rails extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface with an 11' fall to ground distance.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  (a) On the jobsite at Lot 67 - On or about April 23, 2026, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard, in that employees did not use fall protection while conducting framing activities with a 9' to 11' fall to lower level distance.  Gomez GT Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1804089, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 28, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at River Bluff Plantation Lot 166, Ellabell, GA 31308.
