29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: On or about June 3, 2026, at a residential multi plex job site, located at 30 S. Pershing Ave., Akron OH 44313, the employer failed to ensure that hard hats were worn by employees, including the owner, while working on the ground next to the scrap dumpster where roofing materials were being thrown off the top of the roof (20 feet below). Employees were exposed to struck by hazards from the materials that were being thrown down to the ground dumpster; often times missing the dumpster.
