On October 15, 2025, an employee and crew were fishing a rod box on a parted rod string. The crew ran a reverse grapple down the hole to retrieve the broken rod box. The employee was using a 36-inch pipe wrench to apply pressure and break a connection down the well bore. Another connection down the well bore unexpectedly released, causing the torque applied to the rod string to return to the surface. The employee lost their grip on the wrench and it then spun around and struck their arm, resulting in a fracture.
