On 2/5/15 an employee acting as part of a rapid response healthcare team was transferring a patient from the inpatient bed to a cart when the employee incurred a back strain. The employee was admitted and hospitalized for 3 days.

An employee was attempting to lift a patient off the ground. The patient tried to help and pushed himself back onto the employee. The employee fell over the curb and the patient landed on top of him, resulting in knee injuries that required hospitalization.
An employee was moving a patient off one bed and onto another using a draw sheet to assist the patient with a "log roll." The patient rolled off the bed and onto the employee, pinning the employee's leg underneath. They sustained a right lower leg fracture.
