Final narrative
An employee was helping a patient stand when the patient lost his/her balance and fell. The employee was struck in the left leg when the patient fell, sustaining a broken knee.
A security guard was responding to a call regarding an aggressive patient in the emergency room. The patient punched the employee in their face and chest. The employee left the patient's room and then became unresponsive due to cardiac arrest.
On 12/22/2023, an employee was carrying bins filled with pasta to a refrigerator. As he lifted a 20-pound bin, he felt pain in his lower back. The employee sustained a herniated disc.
An employee was walking through the kitchen while cleaning and ensuring all equipment was turned off when they tripped and fell into the corner of a table. The employee sustained a subdural hematoma and globe injury to the left eye.
