Final narrative
An employee was filling a sandblast pot with more media. As he stepped away from it, the hose fitting decoupled, leaving his right leg in line with blasting media discharge. The discharge caused an abrasion in the right curved area of his right leg.
A forklift was used to load a flammable storage cabinet (weighing approximately 265 pounds) into the bed of a pickup truck. Once the forklift was removed and parked, employees went to re-position the cabinet. They lifted one edge of the cabinet to roll it on its side. The cabinet dropped approximately 2 inches and landed on the injured employee s left middle finger causing a fingertip amputation.
