Final narrative
An employee was working in the back room doing salad prep. While sweeping up lettuce from the floor, the employee bent down to pick something up and tripped on a drain cover in the floor. This caused the employee to fall and fracture the left femur. The employee was admitted to the hospital for surgery.
An employee arrived at work and was walking into the store through the parking lot. The employee tripped over a curb and fell to the ground, sustaining a femur fracture.
An employee was walking through the gravy cooler when he slipped. His left hand went into one of the pots containing hot gravy. The employee was hospitalized with second degree burns to the left forearm and blisters.
An employee was walking into the motor control center (MCC) room when his right ring finger was caught in the hinge of a doorway. He sustained an open phalanx fracture, which resulted in a partial amputation above the first knuckle.
