An employee was walking near a blast pot when a fitting on the pot broke free causing pressure to discharge and knock the employee to the ground. This resulted in hospitalization for two lacerations on their head and a fractured left wrist.

An employee fell approximately 12 feet from the top of a DOT water tank at the Naval Shipyard on February 2, 2015. The employee had been filling the tank with waste water from a naval vessel. They had just completed the job when it started to rain. The supervisor or team leader asked the victim to climb up and close the top hatch. The victim fell off, landed head first on the asphalt, and required hospitalization.

On October 25, 2023, an employee suffered an insect bite/sting, which caused a swollen arm that required hospitalization.

An employee was walking around a truck at a weigh station when they suffered a spider bite on their left leg. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee was preparing to bend a flat bar in a brake press. When the machine was jogged, the stock rotated up and crushed his left middle fingertip against the outer frame of the die. The fingertip was amputated.
