An employee was speaking to coworkers when a customer approached the employee regarding what was being said. The customer became agitated. The employee attempted to de-escalate the situation and asked the customer to step outside. Once outside the customer assaulted the employee, resulting in a nasal fracture, laceration to the nasal bridge, contusion, and a headache.
