A carpenter was stripping column forms when his right middle fingertip was pinched between the brackets on the hinge side. The fingernail and skin on the fingertip were removed and the bone was fractured.

An employee was using a drill to mix concrete inside a 5-gallon bucket. When the employee checked the drill's chuck to see if it was loose, the left index fingertip portion of his glove got caught in the teeth of the spinning chuck and the employee's finger was amputated at the first knuckle.
