Final narrative
An employee was unloading a pallet of pavers from a semi-truck with a tractor. The pallet of pavers shifted forward and fell off the tractor, causing it to jerk backward. The jerking of the tractor caused the neck of the employee to whip back, fracturing his C5 vertebrae. He experienced numbness in both arms and was hospitalized.

The employee was pinned between the drive shaft and two pieces of angle steel, resulting in a fracture to their left hip.
