An employee was riding on the passenger side of a baggage tug being driven by a coworker. The driver made a sharp left turn, and the employee fell off. The baggage cart, which was being pulled by the tug, ran over the employee and fractured his left ankle.

Aircraft Service International Group

An employee was removing passenger bags from a conveyor belt while a string of four dollies was carrying empty LD3 containers from a flight. The last dolly clipped a curb and an LD3 bounced off the dolly and struck the employee. The employee suffered a fractured left tibia and a head contusion.

Dollar General

An employee was driving a double pallet jack down an aisle when another piece of equipment came through the aisle. Realizing that the two pieces of equipment were about to collide, the employee jumped off the pallet jack. It then ran over his leg, breaking his leg/ankle.

Epoxy Coating Specialists Inc

An employee was operating a forklift when the load shifted. The employee jumped from the forklift and it rolled backward, falling off the ramp and pinning the employee underneath it. They sustained head trauma and injuries to the shoulder, arm, pelvis, and leg.

Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp.

An employee was operating a rider-style powered pallet jack. He lost his balance causing him to fall off and become trapped between it and a wall. He suffered a broken pelvis and was hospitalized.

Clear Choice Outdoor, LLC

An employee was operating a stand-on mower down a hill when the mower started sliding. The employee jumped off the mower and fell to the ground. Their hand was cut by the mower blade, resulting in a laceration and a thumb amputation.

United Parcel Service

An employee was driving a package car around a building on UPS property when the vehicle struck a bump. The force from hitting the bump unbuckled the employee's seatbelt and caused them to fall out of the vehicle onto the asphalt. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery for fractures to their hip and pelvis.

The Boeing Company

Two employees fell from an access bridge while entering an aircraft to perform maintenance. They landed on the ground about 20 feet below, where one of them lost consciousness. One employee sustained a fractured knee and another employee sustained a back strain/sprain. Both employees were hospitalized.

United Airlines

An employee experienced sharp pain in his lower torso area while loading baggage into the front cargo pit of an aircraft. The employee sustained a hernia.

M1 Support Services

The injured employee was assisting in the disassembly phase after a radar array had been lowered and secured. The crew began removing load bearing pins from an overhead crane to free the radome. A load bearing pin was stuck. The injured employee went to remove the pin manually as a second team member applied pressure from the opposite side. The pin unexpectedly released and struck the injured employee s right thumb, resulting in partial amputation of the distal phalanx including an open distal phalanx fracture and nail bed laceration.

FSM Group LLC

On September 11, 2025, an employee was lowering a railing system on an aircraft fueling cart when his gloved right ring finger was caught in the folding railing system, resulting in a fingertip amputation that required hospitalization and surgical reattachment.

Certified Engines Unlimited, Inc.

An employee was working at ground level when an aviation engine cylinder weighing 30 pounds fell from a seven-foot high shelf and struck the employee on the head. The employee suffered a fractured skull and was hospitalized.

Garden Angels New York LLC

An employee was cleaning leaves with a backpack blower when he fell from a ladder, resulting in injuries to his head, neck, and back.

Cashless Tolling Constructors

An employee was operating a battery-powered broom to clean demolition debris off the top of the outermost bridge girder. The girder was approximately 11 feet above the demolition scaffold below. The employee fell approximately 8 feet to wind bracing below. The employee was hospitalized with a pelvis/tailbone fracture. Fall protection was in place at the time.

An employee slipped while descending in a stairwell, fell, and suffered multiple contusions/bruises to the head, neck, shoulders, knees, and back. She was hospitalized.
