Final narrative
An employee was lifting a metal water gate and placing it into the front bucket of a loader. The water gate shifted and the employee lost control of it. His right pointer fingertip was caught between the water gate and the bucket of the excavator. His finger broke and was lacerated across the nailbed.

On March 12, 2020, an employee was driving a pickup truck along a closed highway lane. The truck hit the side of a skid steer's track, and the employee suffered neck whiplash. He was hospitalized.
An employee was fixing a broken purlin at a worksite when they fell from the framing to the concrete floor approximately 19 feet below. The employee sustained brain bleeding and fractures to their face, vertebrae, and wrists.
