An employee was using a sit-down powered industrial lift to retrieve a pallet that contained four 55-gallon drums. When the employee lifted the top pallet, the corner of the pallet broke, causing a 55-gallon drum to fall to the ground and strike another employee on the ground. That employee suffered a fractured right arm and hip, as well as back and neck injuries.
