An employee was using a pneumatic nail gun to secure roof decking when a nail shot through the employee's shoe into the top of the foot and was embedded in the bone. The employee required overnight hospitalization and surgery.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
