An employee was on a ladder, performing an engine leak check on an aircraft. The aircraft's propeller changed direction from reverse to forward, and the employee was blown off the ladder. The employee landed on the ground 15 feet away and suffered a broken left femur and tibia, as well as a broken right wrist, three broken ribs, and a concussion.

While working on a training project (maintenance and rebuilding of a diesel engine) an employee caught two fingers on their left hand between the camshaft and the front of the engine. The left middle and ring fingers were lacerated near the nail and partially amputated.

An employee backed into a shelf while driving a stand-up forklift and suffered a back injury.

An employee was unloading a truck when he experienced pain. He was hospitalized with a hernia.

An employee was cutting pipe when they sustained a laceration to the face. The employee was hospitalized.

On September 25, 2023, an employee was working in the body department installing doors, hoods, and tailgates. The employee finished their shift and was hospitalized later that evening for a back injury.

An employee was performing flagging operations on a closed road. A postal vehicle was allowed onto the road to make a delivery. The employee was struck by the postal vehicle as it was backing up, resulting in a broken leg.

An employee was walking and taking post-locate photos. He stepped on a ceramic drainage tile and his foot/leg punched through the tile. His leg was lacerated by the broken tile. The employee was hospitalized with internal bleeding due to a punctured femoral artery.

Employees were preparing to place a section of metal grating measuring approximately 50" x 18" and weighing 40 to 50 lbs. The injured employee grabbed the grating to pull it toward himself and another employee was moving to the other side to assist with the lift. As the injured employee pulled, his right foot slipped and twisted. He was hospitalized with a fractured right leg.

An employee was in their personal vehicle awaiting instructions from the construction contractor on posting traffic cones. The driver of a motor vehicle swerved to avoid a steel plate in the roadway and struck the employee's car. The employee was hospitalized with four fractured ribs.

The injured employee was assisting a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) enforcement operation. During an apprehension, officers returned fire at a subject and struck the employee with a bullet. The employee sustained a gunshot wound to their right hand.

The injured employee was assisting in the disassembly phase after a radar array had been lowered and secured. The crew began removing load bearing pins from an overhead crane to free the radome. A load bearing pin was stuck. The injured employee went to remove the pin manually as a second team member applied pressure from the opposite side. The pin unexpectedly released and struck the injured employee s right thumb, resulting in partial amputation of the distal phalanx including an open distal phalanx fracture and nail bed laceration.

An employee was working on an electrical panel in a mechanical room when an arc flash occurred. The employee suffered burns.

At about 3:10 p.m. on October 3, 2025, an employee was inspecting a car. Two dogs that had been in another car were leashed and tethered to a bollard. As the employee inspected the first car along with a narcotics detection dog, one of the other dogs came loose and attacked the narcotics dog. The employee was separating the dogs when the other dog bit his left ring finger. The last joint of the finger was injured and part of it was bitten off.

An employee was preparing a bundle of green onions for chopping. While holding the bundle in his left hand, he made his first cut using a 9-inch kitchen knife held in his right hand. The knife contacted the tip of his left thumb, resulting in an amputation of approximately 0.5 inches of the thumb that required hospitalization.
