Final narrative
A crew was using a hand-chain hoist to move a large filter basket back into its housing when the basket moved unexpectedly and smashed the injured employee's right index finger against the housing. The employee was hospitalized with a laceration.
An employee was working at a paper winder. He taped the paper to the core and it began to tear. While he was trying to grab the tail of the paper, the winder grabbed his right-hand fingers and pulled his hand in. He suffered fractures to his middle and ring fingers.
