An employee had trimmed tree branches and was descending from the tree. The employee's descending rope was tied to a branch that broke, causing the employee to fall approximately 25 feet to the ground. The employee suffered a fractured pelvis, a lacerated spleen, fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, fractured vertebrae, and a fractured left elbow.
